Joey Bushwalk
Event information
This week we are taking a bush walk on the Winter Solstice - the shortest day of the year!
We will be completing the Woolomombi Falls bushwalking track.
Families are welcome to join us but please do look at the track information on the National Parks website first as this walk may not suit all members of your family.
The walk will take approximately 2.5 hours with time for lots of snacks and rests included. There is a BBQ/Picnic area at the end/start of the walk and lots of parking.
Your Joey will need to be dressed on warm clothes with a rain jacket included in their day pack. Please also included enough water, substantial snacks, sunscreen, a hat, spare socks (you never know!), a small personal first aid kit (leaders will carry a full kit). Optional extras include binoculars, a compass, torch etc.
Please note that you must register following the link - this is the way we will know how to best assist your Joey in an emergency.

Here is where we will be meeting - you will need to head out of Armidale on Waterfall Way - turning right into Woolomombi Falls Rd - we will meet at the end of this road at the beginning of the walk.
